Askbar started as a personal tool. I was tired of switching windows, losing context, and fighting my own workflow just to ask an AI a question. So I built an overlay that stays out of the way until you need it.

It's built and maintained by a solo developer in Germany. No VC funding, no growth hacks, no dark patterns. Just a tool I use every day and want to make better.
